Ian & Mary Ledwidge & family recongnising the potential of the rich diverse soil and excelent climate conditions of Moama, and established a 20 scre vineyard in 1996 and planted a variety of grape vines.
Purchased and relocated to their property is a 100 year old church transferred from a neighbouring town and created as a cellar-door. This unique and historic building is open daily for tastings and wine sales.
Incorporating and adjoining cellar door is a life long collection of military memoribilia. Continuing the historic theme the winery also boasts the largest private collection of military memorabilia in the southern hemisphere.
The museum features antique money, stamps, guns, collections, vintage motorbikes, cars, and farm equipment.
The Military collection ranges from armoured cars, army tanks, amphibious vehicles, gun carriers, motorbikes, half trucks, jeeps, and services memorabilia.
The display does not represent conflict but rather an educations an interesting view of these vehicles on display which have regualy appeared on TV programs.
Ians collection has been a long life passion of hard work and dedication that with the aim to preserve some of Australia's history, and showcase it to the public.
